Civil Rights Movement – Anger

I’m teaching the Civil Rights Movement and I want to focus on the theme of anger by looking at the negatives and positives of getting angry versus staying calm to get what you want. I could stage the Lao Tzu conversation at the beginning of the unit or at the end of the unit to assimilate their learning about the events and people of the movement and the role that anger played in it.
