Conversation Project Pilot A Statewide Teacher Workforce Training Initiative to Promote Student Mental Health.
Funded through Illinois’ Department of Human Services, This statewide pilot project offers workforce training for middle and high school social studies teachers, both practicing and preservice, to implement neuroscience-aligned classroom discussion techniques.
This initiative is a collaboration between Teach Different and the Illinois Institute of Independent Colleges and Universities, with strategic involvement from Regional Offices of Education in high-need areas statewide.
This program lasts up to four months and can be completed in as little as two months. You will need to be available for two Zoom calls and a phone call for a total of 3 hours in order to complete the program.
