Let’s use our superhuman powers and argue against Einstein.
Counterclaim: But there’s also great power that comes from knowing things for certain. Because if you know things, then you’re able to understand and control them towards your own purpose. Not only that, you are able to communicate much easier with people since you are working with tangible pieces of evidence that others understand and that you can show them. Thus, knowing things gives you a power that is infinitely more important than power you get from simply dreaming about something.
Einstein’s quote is a great opening for us to introduce this question:
Essential Question: Which people are more important in our society—those with knowledge or those with dreams?
